The name and game is a play on one of the most ubiquitously known driving-related icons: the traffic light. It caters to the quick-impulse and short attention spans of the Millennial generation who crave an outlet for them to absentmindedly preoccupy themselves with, while not requiring so much attention that it would be detrimental towards certain tasks at hand, such as listening to a class lecture–a demographic need that was observed by us high school students in the everyday. The game is simple: when a color on the traffic light brightens up, you give it a tap. You continue this process until you make a mis-tap, at which point the game is over. Additionally, you must click at least ten lights every ten seconds. This game may improve one’s fine motor skills and reaction time by way of cognitive training. This game, if used by high school students during class on hidden devices as we expect from our target demographic, may also reduce brain chatter and improve an “ADD Generation” student’s ability to concentrate and multitask.
